“Women have been taught that, for us, the earth is flat, and that if we venture out, we will fall off the edge. “
But I am not afraid of falling down…. J and I hope and wish no girl should be..!
In a country where Equality is in the constitution, is it just in the pages?
Government is ready to fix quotas for girls for education, for jobs… rather why not educate people…even those who are academically educated…about treating men and women alike..!!
And for females who are happy about the quota, I’d say : The test for whether or not you can hold a job should not be the arrangement of your chromosomes.
The following isn’t my quote but yeah ..its True.! :
Because I am a woman, I must make unusual efforts to succeed. If I fail, no one will say, "She doesn't have what it takes." They will say, "Women don't have what it takes." ~Clare Boothe Luce
The time a girl is born…there sure is a smile on everyone’s face, but would it have been wider if it would have been a boy???
She grows up in a restricted environment…she has to be extra precautious from the so called “man’s world” ..learns …teaches….and out shines ever other specie on earth….!!
One woman has to play the role of sister, daughter, mother, wife and friend and in the end she isn’t recognized as a human being but as a female who is oppressed. Women are the only oppressed group in our society that lives in intimate association with their oppressors…!!!!
No matter where you go, you’d find most women worrying about some aspect of combining marriage, children, and a career.
I've yet to find one where many men were worrying about the same thing…!!
At mature parts of her life….she has to keep her family happy….both before marriage and after marriage.
Work in office and work and home and also try to keep all relations intact and everyone happy…Is she appreciated for what all she does?Rarely or Never…coz itz her job…..is it??
If all men are born free, how is it that all women are born slaves?
If she takes a step which is out-of-the box, or not generally practiced in her society….people try to push her back..
Even without support she fights…does things which she aint allowed to do (as per a Man’s Rule Book) and in the end is criticized or told to apologize…
Men are taught to apologize for their weaknesses, women for their strengths..!
Why is not peacefully allowed to play sports and wear what she wants ..without any chows….? Why isn’t she allowed to marry the man she wants..no matter to what religion he belongs? Why is she tied to stringent rules, time frames…? Why isn’t she treated like a normal HUMAN Being……!!!!
